Each project is a challenge to us, and in every case our team of professionals meet and overcome this challenge with their expertise and, where called for, innovativeness. The last three decades saw brisk activities for THINET in Saudi Arabia, and this is where some high points of our accomplishments are evident.

The Mecca Conference Center constructed in the late 1960's was a superb achievement in islamic architecture applied with modern functionality and to this day stands in harmonious complement to the developments in the holy city.

To complete in 24 months, 178,000 m2 of livable space (comprising 496 luxurious apartments in 2 blocks of 4 towers, each 21 storey high) including parking, recreation and commercial facilities. This was a challenge posed to us in the Jeddah Rush Housing Program, a housing project of the Ministry of Housing and which we successfully met.

In the 1980's we were commissioned to construct the Headquarters of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare in Riyadh. This is an office complex consisting of a high rise buildings, which included a royal class Presidential Suite. This project led to our being awarded a series of Olympic standard sports centers in various locales around Saudi Arabia.

Even through the downtrend experienced by the construction industry in Saudi Arabia during the late 1980's, our good reputation and aggressive marketing strategy enabled us to sustain the level of sales turnover for this period.

During the 1980's THINET started developing new markets in Saudi Arabia, increasing our involvement in the bouyant private sector. Upgrading our design, engineering and procurement and project management capabilities to meet the shifting demands of "specialization" in the construction industry, we are able to penetrate new markets. From Royal Palaces to Embassies, Hospitals and mass housing projects, THINET continues with its tradition of giving quality products to clients.
